Owen Garvan's career at Ipswich Town is over along with two other players. Roy Keane hauled of Garvan and striker Jon Stead at half-time in the clubs defeat to West Bromich at the weekend. Both players along with Alan Quinn were axed from the 18 man Carling Cup squad in Peterborough on Tuesday.
Garvan who is considered one of the best Irish prospects has had an unhappy time at Ipswich since Roy Keanes arrival at the end of last season. He was a target for West Ham last season, but will now need to move before Tuesdays transfer deadline and may have to stay in the championship to get first team football.
Keane said on www.itfc.co.uk
"There are one or two who played at the weekend who will never play for me again."
"Eventually you have to make a decision and I don't like what I have been seeing. This is not just based on Saturday but on the end of last season and pre-season as well. You can't keep waiting and you have to say enough is enough. It's not personal - it is just time to move on."
